Some are focused on specific verticals (such as Boost VC, a program specifically for VR/AR and Bitcoin startups). When you join an accelerator program, you’ll usually receive a seed investment ranging from US$20,000 to US$50,000 in exchange for equity.


Each cohort-based program can run between three to five months; you will receive mentorship and education to grow and
accelerate your business. Accelerator programs usually conclude with a public pitch event or demo day.

Many founders say that working with peers is the best part of 500. They invest $125k in exchange for 5%, and charge a $25k fee for participation in the Accelerator Program.
