What is the International Entrepreneurial Parole Rule?

We also have another option available to entrepreneurs potentially coming out in July this year. This is the international entrepreneurial parole rule. This new rule allows founders who own at least 10% equity of their company and have at least 250 000 invested from qualified VCs from the US and they have open up a company within the last five years to apply for this new parole rule. It’s important to distinguish that this is not a visa but just paroling this person or founder to the US to grow their business for an initial period of two and a half years. This can also be renewed for another two and a half year for a total of five. On renewal, you need to definitely prove that you have been scaling very quickly or that you have received additional investor funding.
