Video transcript:

When is the right time to build my own startup?

When I first came out with my first business idea, I just couldn’t resist but to just build the business right there and then in school. I didn’t want to work on my homework. I didn’t want to go and do sports. I just wanted to work on the business, that’s all I wanted to do, and I think once you feel that level of passion for an idea, you’re ready to do it. You just know.

Even when I was 12 and working on my first business, even with all of the problems that would lie ahead and all the uncertainty and all the questions, I don’t think that really matters. I was just like so passionate about it that, even though there were so many potential problems out there – it would be better to go out and start and try to do it, and try to fail. Then I’d learn along the way, what’s the worst that can happen so that was my mentality going into it. I have no regrets. I don’t regret starting at an early age. If anything, maybe I should have started earlier.
